November was not a very busy month for writing

Fréjus – Formigé Square
(Wikipédia)

I would have liked to do much more and progress on my next novel. Especially so since the action takes place in Fréjus (Forum Julii) in 80 AD, the town where I currently reside.

There is so much to be seen in this town besides the scenery if you are just a little bit interested in ancient history. The ruins and museums are numerous, and the city’ staff always available and willing to share their knowledge on the ancient history of the town.

Unfortunately, my plan to buy in the area took up way too much of my time and distracted me from my writing. I haven’t even had time to add any new articles to my site since October.

Hopefully December is taking a more serene turn, and I think I will be able to dedicate myself to my new project. This is not to say that I haven’t done anything in November. I have in fact finished the detailed synopsis of my next book, the first words of which I should be writing in the next few days, but before, I want to meet with the city’s archaeologists to verify some of the historical elements of my novel.

This will give me the opportunity to write one or more articles to be published on my blog.
